We are starting the kenial Bhutan project. Meet the three Kenial design students, who are supporting the social initiative “Buthanese Kids On Their Toes”. Together with the „Bhutan Amateur Athletic Federation“ (BAAF), Kenial is especially trying to give children from poor and rural areas the chance to participate in physical education at the local schools. The basic elements of track and field will be taught, such as running, jumping and throwing. In five months KENIAL e.V. wants to bring the needed weather resistant sports equipment to 200 kids in the Himalaya. These kids often live over 4000 meters above sea level. The weather is stormy, windy and cold. The sun’s rays are powerful. All the equipment will be brought to the schools from the Kenial athletes personally. To accomplish this goal we are going to launch a crowdfunding project on the platform www.betterplace.org on the first of November this year.
