12 children live at Kantipuur High School in Kathmandu. The children have the opportunity to go to school here and also to live. Due to the difficult circumstances they come from, the school has become their home. And that every day.
The children are mostly siblings. Many of them are half-orphans, some with developmental limitations. They are united by a difficult past and, with the school, a hope for education.
The children are between 9 and 19 years old. They come from 4 families. Siblings, sometimes with a parent, have a small house on the school grounds.
The traveller. Franz Hölzl is a mountain guide from Munich. And he wants to help the local children. He leads up one of the really big mountains, the Manaslu. We wish you a safe journey and thank you, Franz.
Franz distributes new shoes, jackets, trousers, toilet bags and shirts. All packed in a backpack. Thx Lowa, Tatonka, Ortovox and Schöffel for supporting this projekt.
