The kenial mountaineer Luis Stizinger brought needed shoes and warm weatherproof jackets in October 2016 to the children’s home. He guided the Rolwaling Trek and before he visited the kids. Mountain. Mount Manaslu (8163m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world. In October Luis will guide the Rolwaling Trek, in 2017 they are fulfilling themselves a personal dream with another attempt on the scaling of Mt. Manaslu.
Athletes. Alix von Melle and Luis Stizinger are the most successful expedition-mountaineering couple in Germany. So far, they’ve toured together on 9 +8000m mountains without pressurised oxygen and scaled 6 of them successfully.
