Tim and Ewa leave for Namibia at the end of December. In their luggage are lots of towels for the NGO Wadadee Cares https://www.wadadeecares.com/ and their NamPads project in Windhoek. With the “NamPads” project, Wadadee Cares will first train local seamstresses to produce reusable and sustainable sanitary pads from fabric. After the first production has taken place, Wadadee cares will buy them from the seamstresses at a fair price with the help of donations and then distribute the product free of charge to the girls and young women of the partner projects and surrounding schools. The plan was also to support the Hope Village home in Katutura, which is also supported by Wadadee Cares. But Jack, who wanted to travel with Tim and Ewa, is sitting in lockdown in England with the Kenial children’s items. What a pity.
